This is a genuine Art Deco flapper necklace. It belonged to my great grandmother, and I have enjoyed wearing it for many years.The main body of the necklace is made from brass with Czech glass beads and insets in purples, greens, blues and yellows. There are also four small inset pearls on the main pendant. The necklace still has its original cloth chain (unusual as they were often replaced) and brass faux clasp.The necklace is in good vintage condition with a couple of minor flaws. The main pendant and all the glass beads are in excellent condition with no visible flaws. One of the brass beads has been slightly squished (pictured), but could be repaired. The chain has three areas of fraying (pictured). If I were keeping the piece I would replace the cloth chain, though it could be reinforced with black thread.The necklace is 40 inches in circumference (including the main drop). The two shorter inside chains measure 15 inches long, and the outer chains measure 17 inches long. The rectangle portion of the pendant measures 4cm wide and 5.5cm high. The beaded strands on the bottom of the rectangle measure 3.5cm, 5.75cm, and 8cm long respectively.
