Vintage Art Deco Era Onyx Silver Pearl Cufflinks OLD

Up for auction is a pair of vintage cufflinks. These are 'black and white', rectangular shaped, measuring 9/16" wide side to side x 3/4" tall, top to bottom and weigh 13.2g on a digital scale prior to packing. The black stone, onyx, is slightly domed, cut with crisp edges, its surfaces polished smooth and they are slick to the touch. They set in low shallow serrate edged bezels and are center set with a whole 6mm pink tinted real pearl that is nestled down into mid section of the crown's swell. They are fairly early, simply hallmarked: SILVER in gothic lettering on the reverse, see Pic 2 and each has an additional marking on one of the fixed legs which hold the pin-hinged keeps: P.A.T. 4.07 __ __ which I think is either 33 or 35. Purchased second hand at a local vintage wares market, I have no specific history on them. The silver is of sterling grade or better and currently has a deep charcoal color to it. They look nice just as they are but rubbed down with a polishing cloth they will gleam. These are about 70-80 years old and have wear consistent with careful use and wear. To the naked eye this pair look great for any amount of age yet with magnification I see miniscule nipping along the sharp facet edge of the black stones (see Pic 5) you'll have to search for it but I'd say this condition is more felt with the nail tip and is virtually unseen with the eye...not distracting or detracting especially considering age...definitely not problematic just t and important to mention. Please refer to photos for your take on age, design and your assessment of their condition. I'd say very good to fine visual condition (not perfectly pristine)...getting up t in years...stately and classic design appropriate in its black and white scheme...sweet!
