For your consideration is this very rare Art Deco Figural Accent Lamp from a prominent San Francisco estate entitled “The Offering.“ A beautiful original accent lamp collectible item from 1920 - 1940 at the heart of the French and Egyptian Art Deco influence. This lamp is in EXCELLENT COLLECTORS CONDITION and is not the typical fly by night lamp you see on eBay. T is no damage that I can see at all. This is well representative of the period and more specifically the Egyptian influence to art deco, which is displayed on the base as well as the dress of the kneeling Egyptian subject. This beautiful lamp measures approximately 17 ½ inches in total height with the base measuring 5 X 4 inches, 11 inches to the top of the fitter. The lamp features another very rare and recognized large Czechoslovakian “End - Of - The - Day” lamp shade, which measures approximately 6 ½ X 6 ½ and is done in the highly desirable Star Cluster shape bearing 25 individual points. The shade is adorned with the beautiful mixture of Light Blue, Deep Blue, Red, Orange, Green, Black, Brown and White colors. A perfect example of he end of the day lamp shade mixture. THE GLOBE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO FLAWS except for some very minor chips along the fitter rim that I can find and is to be expected. Of course these are not visible when the shade is seated. It retains the original single pull chain operation that is tight and crisp. This beautiful lamp has been rewired with period authentic cord and plug. When lit, this amazing lamp gives off a amazing display of the colors in the shade. This lamp is featured and referenced on page 41 of “Schiffer’s Art Deco Lighting“, 2001, by Herb Milliman & John Dwyer. THIS LAMP COULD EASILY BE A MUSEUM PIECE - AND AT MINIMUM - A FINE COLLECTIBLE FOR ANY ART DECO ENTHUSIAST - SO BID ACCORDINGLY WITH CONFIDENCE.
