is a beautiful vintage Art Deco Gilfillan Brothers Tube Radio Model 58 M & 58W. It has a crack on the bottom. This is the only flaw i see. It is a dark brown color with dark brown knobs. it works when plugged it (takes tube a bit to warm up). sounds real nostalgic. Has Gilfillan at bottom of front. is marked on back with white tag Model 58M & 58W. 117 volts ac-dc 28 watts this apparatus uses inventions of united states patents licensed by radio corporation of america this apparatus is licensed under the uni( paper missing) patent rights of Hazeltin(paper missing) Manfactured by Gilfillan Bros. Inc. los angeles california serial no v-2464. it has the ul sticker and antenna stamped on back. it measures a little over 10 inches and is a little over 5 inches tall. it will be shipped priority insured between almost 6 pounds and from zip 59901. would make a wonderful christmas gift or addition to any collection. Check out my other items ! i added new brighter pictures hope this helps. the crack starts at back, runs to first screw on to second screw and on about 3/4 inch. does not reach front of radio. only one crack. other white spots are paint. crack does not spider. three screws in bottom. two front one back. dial cover does not have any white or clouding near 600 and 160. just light glare. top, both ends, and front no chips or cracks. read more
