ART DECO CEILING LIGHT FIXTUREGLASS LIGHT GLOBE METAL MOUNTINGSTANDARD SOCKETEst. 1930's Vintage AS A REAL FIND!!The distinctive pattern of this CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE is the ART DECO STYLE. The multi-leveled geometric shaping of the globe and stylized markings are characteristic of the period. This light might have typically been found in a public building or perhaps a bank. Based on comparables, it is estimated to have been manufactured in the 1930's. The GLOBE is white milk glass with black markings. It measures approximately 10" diameter and 8"deep. Please note: While I will pack this item very well for shipment, I cannot guarantee its safe handling during shipping. Due to its fragile nature, shipping insurance is required for this item.Also, the socket wiring was right for the 1930's but may require upgrading to meet your local codes.
