Up for bid is a unusual vintage ART DECO cast aluminum or zinc wall sconce/light marked M E P (MARKEL ELECTRIC PRODUCTS) B-1230 and the number 6. The sconce, 7-1/4" high by 4-3/8" at widest point and extending 5 " from the wall, has its original paint, light gold with dark gold accents. The sconce has chipped paint on a few areas and some discoloration (I was not able to pick this up in the picture). The wiring looks original but the electrical box mounting may not be. This is in its original, as found, condition and I do not know its history. This is a very eye-catching vintage light.
