welcome to my auction up for auction is this very beautiful lamp i purchased a few years ago from the mansion of the knight pottery company estate in akron ohio. the knight pottery co. is very significant to akrons pottery history. the estate had auctioned many unique items from a collection of many years. i could not find any information on this lamp. i dont know the age of it. the bottom of base is signed 9902-A L & L WMC. and the glass shade is signed in two areas travis ctc? this is a beautiful lamp, the art deco style with nude woman with wings, the slag glass of violets, purples, & blues. you dont see this type of lamp often. a magnet does not stick to this. i am not sure what type of metal it is made of. the lamp with shade measures 15 3/4" tall x 12" wide. the lamp with no shade measures 10 1/4" tall x 4 3/4" at bottom of base. the shade is 12" wide x 7" tall and is removable. lamp weighs with shade 3 1/4 lbs. the slag glass panels are connected by what looks like copper and lead? maybe one or the other has faded. the beaded detail around lamp is beautiful. t are no chips, niks, or cracks on lamp or shade. the cord is in good working condition. i am selling this as you see it. please ask questions before you bid. buyer has 10 days from end of auction to pay for item and pays shipping and insurance. i have not boxed this read more
