Gorgeous vintage Sterling Silver Art Deco Guilloche enamel cigarette holder from Austria The background enamel is white with hand painted pink and green rose garlands. Black scalloped top edge and red Lucite stem. The top is marked Austria and I believe Sterling, letters are worn. No loss of enamel, no bite marks on mouth piece, no chips, no cracks. There is a line on the stem- not sure if it is a hairline crack or just a fold line during forming. The smoke tube is on a spring and pushes up to get the end of a used cigarette out of the holder- this is slightly crooked the hole was drilled/carved off center during manufacturing. It doesn't affect the usage or look of the holder, just needs to be pushed up gently not to scrape the stem. Measures 4" long.
