This is a large vintage wall mask measuring 15" long by approximately 11" across.It has a very striking Eastern or Egyptian look to it.It has been very finely modelled as can be seen from the realistic look of the face.The coloured beads have been individually painted.It is relatively lightweight for it's size,I would describe the texture as heavy bisque.It has no manufacturer's mark on it,the person who owned it before me told me that they had thoroughly cleaned it and that is obvious from the back.It is possible that the manufacturer's mark has been erased but,from the look,texture and style of it,I would date it at exactly the art deco period.It weighs over a kilo before careful packaging,postage is £8.00 by first class post,being the cheapest that I can send it for.Thank you for your interest.
