This is a stunning cup and saucer set made by Royal Doulton, in the Art Nouveau period. The cup and saucer are both decorated with a very fine gold gilding pattern scrolls, garlands of flowers and tiny roses. There are bands of apple green colouring. Both pieces are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There is some crazing on the white parts of the cup, although it doesn't affect the overall quality of the set. There is no wear or tear to the gilding. The cup is 4" across the top. The saucer is 5 3/4" in diameter. This set is fully usable, and also would make a great addition to any collection of quality cabinet cups.
