Up for bid we have a beautiful vintage art pottery vase decorated with a graceful nude figurine. This is an estate item that I acquired some time ago. The vase is unsigned and I do not know who produced it. It has a satin-matte glaze and measures 7 1/2 inches high, 3 1/8 inches from front to back (measuring the top) and it is approximately 7 inches wide (measuring from edge of handle to edge of handle. I believe that aqua or light turquoise best describes it's color. The nude design is on one side of the vase. The vase is in very good condition. It has no chips or cracks. It has a few spots of light glaze crazing on the inside. T is a tiny glaze flake on the top rim. T are some glaze skips on the handle and on the base edge as you can see in the photo. I thought it could possibly be a Van Briggle or Roseville vase but I am not certain. It appears to be a very good quality piece of art pottery and it is lovely!
