is a great vintage mica lamp shade found in San Francisco. It is likely Lillian Palmer or Harry Dixon. The metal frame is iron (unhammered) with circular iron medallions with Asian motifs inset along the bottom edges. The shade measures ~ 18" in diameter and is ~9-1/2" high. It is actually 8 sided but almost round. Condition is very good. The metal has a nice dark patina and t is slight flaking to the mica in one panel (see pic). The attachment of the medallians to the frame is a bit tenuous in some cases but so far it is all together. I am selling this separately but en suite with a fantastic Fulper base that is listed under pottery, glass/ pottery, china/ Fulper. I have married the shade with the base for my own use. I have owned both for about 10 years. More information is given in the separate entry for the Fulper base. Please note that the shade sits a bit precariously on the stem. A little engineering (an additional piece of hardware) would make the package more robust. A great vintage shade for the Fulper or another base.
