This is a vintage 1961 Arvin #61R16 Mint Green Transistor Radio with the original Leather Case. The radio is in great condition with no cracks or chips , just a couple of pry marks on the bottom at the notch to open the back . The radio is known as the "Checkmark" for the styling on the dial. It works and receives several stations well. It takes an old style, round 9 volt battery that I purchased new a week ago for $10, and will be included. It`s not easy to find but is still available. The leather including the strap on the case is in excellent shape with no tears or rips but does have two issues. The latch is missing a piece to lock it in place and the original owner wrote his name on the inside. The radio could use some minor cleaning. Overall, it`s a very nice vintage transistor radio.
