Selling is a fantastic vintage ashtray for a collector of ashtrays or for the hunter in the house. This ashtray features a bronze shot gun resting on top of a shotgun shell. It has two hand painted birds on the side, which I believe are quail. The solid wood ashtray holder has a fantastic patina, but does have some burn marks. I was told that those can be removed with some light sanding are refinishing. This measures 9" long x 6 1/2" wide x 4" tall.I was told by the daughter of the original owner that it is from the 1940's. In case this does not sale, it will not be relisted again.
