I recently bought a beautiful radio collection of mostly 1920's radios, horns and speakers and will be selling these all this winter along with some tubes and slightly newer radio equipment. please check back often as I will try to keep something listed. This is a very nice looking and working Atwater Kent model 447 4 band 7 tube Broadcast shortwave tombstone radio from 1934. I listened to it today and it really sounds nice. It has shadowbox tuning (see Pictures, one shows no signal and another shows a strong signal received) When a strong signal is received the shadow gets smaller. This is a very unique quite pleasing to the eye beautiful radio and displays beautifully. (See Pictures) This is not a new one so it does of course have some minor flaws in its 73 years on this planet. This will be "sold as" is but is as described to the best of my knowledge. This will weigh about 50 pounds packed and I will have to remove the speaker to get it safely to you. T will be a 25.00 packing fee but local pick-up could be maybe be arranged. I will ship USPS Ground insured unless you have a different plan. This will be for USA bidders only because of its size of 21X16X12. E-Mail if you have any questions way before the auction ends. Will be putting up some other interesting items this week so check out my other auctions. If you have bid retractions or negative feedback I will withdraw your bid. I only like smooth transactions. I will take Paypal, bank cashiers checks or postal money orders. Hi, Just to be perfectly clear this radio does require an external antenna to receive stations as t is not one inside its case. Sorry for any confusion. Hi, I have had several inquiries from Europe and with doing some research It might be possible but please check with me first for International Global Priority 6-10 day shipping. This will need the maximum girth allowable box at 108 inches and some countries have 44 pound restrictions, Some countries have 79 inches girth restrictions and this would then be impossible. Also the speaker would need to be removed and sent along seperately. A 20x 20x 28 box would only give a less than 2 inch spacing between cabinet and box.
