Mr. Murphy would drop by to see Babe & George quite regularly. They all had commonality in their youth and adulthood. Audie forgot many of his problems while playing a round of golf with Babe as it was kind of like PSYCHO - THERAPY.He would hide out from the Media & the outside world in the upstairs of the Pre-Depression Moodish Architecture clubhouse. The Zaharias gave him a key which enabled him to park behind the clubhouse and enter the back stairwell without being noticed by the media and such. As for the item being sold. This is such a unique piece of WWII History and was owned and used by the most decorated hero of all time, Audie Murphy. During one of the fishing or hunting outings with the Zaharias, Babe spotted this amoung Audies hunting gear and was quite taken. Before the trip was over, Babe traded Audie out of his knife for one of her prized throphy's.
