This is a vintage Audio Engineer or Audio-Engineer, a precision instrument for controlling electric trains by the spoken command. This item is still in its original box with instruction booklet which contains instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance. I'm not a train owner so I don't know if this item works or not so you are buying it as is. The price on the box indicates that it sold new for $4.95. I don't see a UPC code anywhere so it must be older. The box and the unit indicate manufactured by Electro Nuclear Devices Inc. New York. The instruction booklet does refer to use for American Flyer sets and Lionel sets. It appears as though it should work for any electric train however.

The unit appears to be used but complete. There is staining and soiling to the box. There is scratching and scuffing to the unit with surface dirt.

Overall, it appears to be a nice little set. Again, please ask if you have any questions as I'm not a train buff nor am I familiar with this item. I DO NOT KNOW IF IT WORKS.

Buyer is responsible for additional shipping charges. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Payment must be received WITHIN 7 days. If you're interested in insurance, or special USPS services, please ask and I will quote you a price when applicable. I provide package tracking at no charge to you.

I've indicated that I don't accept returns however if you receive your item and I have grossly misrepresented the item, I will then take it back. I would like to ask that when you receive your item and your happy with it that you kindly leave me positive feedback and you can be certain that I will return the favor. I thank you for looking and hope that I can provide you with a pleasant shopping experience! Thanks for looking at my fresh finds here in the beautiful Blue Mountains of PA!
