This is an excellent example of vintage carnival glass -- a rare Amethyst Kingfisher bowl with super (radium?) irridescence. Made by Crystal Glass Co. circa 1924, the large bowl measures approximately 9.5" in diameter (from ruffled edge to ruffled edge). T is a bit of wear (flea bites/scratches) on a couple of the bottom ruffle edges, w it appears the bowl was previously nested. T is an approximately 1/8" by 1/4" shallow finish flake on the bottom on a mold stretch line. (The black lines in the picture are just reflections, not areas of wear or chips.) The top is as beautiful as the pictures show, and any 'spots' you see are areas w the irridescent finish never covered. T are no chips, cracks, or other damage of any other kind on the bowl.

While this is an impressive piece of carnival glass, it is being sold as-is due to age (even though I have been as accurate as I possibly can in describing the item). Domestic buyers may pay via check or money order (no PayPal, please don't ask). Shipping will be a flat fee of $15 for shipping within the United States. International buyers may pay via international money order or Western Union (in US$ only, please) -- and bear in mind that the listed weight of the item with packing is only an estimate -- the item will be packaged after the auction has ended, and actual shipping charges (for which the buyer will be responsible) will be calculated at that time. And of course, in-person pick-ups are always welcome! :)
