This is a vintage AUTO CITY BREWING CO. bottle from the late 1930's to the early 1940's. This brewing company was only in business for around 9 years after prohibition was lifted. This bottle was unearthed in Royal Oak, MI. during a water main repair, so the condition is that of a bottle that has been buried. There are no major defects in the glass, just scratches and a couple of small chips. I have never heard of this brewing co., although, most brewers had ties with most brewery's of that era. So as for the rarity of this bottle,I do not know. I think it would be worthy of adding to a collection. Thanks for looking!!!!
