Sweet little 1950s satin smocked baby dress and one other It is very well made and so very pretty! Cream satin like fabric. Pink and baby blue smocking with blue 'wave' detailing and pink embroidered flowers with occasional little appliqued white/pink flowers. It is vintage baby sizing and says 18 - which I think means 18" chest as in vintage baby knitting patterns, It measures about 9.5" across the back yoke seam and with stretch it measures the same across the front smocking, so this would be accurate. The dress measures almost 19" long. I cannot find a brand label but it is shop bought as I can just make out the 18 on the size label. In beautiful vintage condition. Could be worn now as a special baby dress or for a large vintage doll or again just as a lovely shop display item!! I will also include another vintage dress which is palest blue seersucker nylon with smocking. The brand is Mytoni. Size 16" This is in need of repair on both sleeves and on the yoke seam, but can easily be done and not show. The smocking is white with 2 tiny pink roses attached. Both dresses have been stored for years in tissue and have been freshly laundered. The baby shoes are not included in this listing but are listed separately. I have listed other vintage baby items.
