i000000 Vintage BACHE BROWN Model 5 MASTEREEL Spinning Reel Item Description ca. 1947 BACHE BROWN Model 5 MASTE REEL Spinning Reel Very good operating and cosmetic condition, very clean; shows light scratches, age stains, and wear to the finish Cast into the crank side of the metal reel frame is " MODEL 5 BACHE BROWN MASTEREEL", "MADE IN U.S.A. PATENT APPLED FOR", and "AIREX CORPORATION DIVISION OF THE LIONEL CORPORATION" The spool is loaded with line tho I don't know the weight. The reel operates nicely, retreives smoothly; the line drag and silent/click sleeve all work properly. The reel measures overall 4 1/2" x 4" x 5"; the spool is 2" diameter. The reel will ship via USPS Priority Mail, 1 1/4lbs This old reel would make an excellent addition to any vintage reel collection and can still be fished for many years to come!
