This auction is for a VERY UNIQUE, at least I had never seen one before French Compact. It looks to be made of bakelite or celluloid and the lid of the compact has some hand painting and gold leafing as well as a depiction of Two French Ladies and French Men playing a board game, POSSIBLY Chess, although it's hard to know for certain. This piece, as well as many other items I will be listing comes from an elderly neighbors estate, a SMOKE FREE HOME! I am estimating it to be from the 1930's to early 1940's. It is in GOOD, AGED CONDITION! NO damage to the case, but the inside mirror has age lines in the mirror. A VERY COOL COLLECTOR'S PIECE!! Please e-mail me with any questions! FREE SHIPPING!
