BAKELITE CRANK WALL PHONE I have a OLD Wall Phone up for auction. This is really a neat looking old phone, I never seen one quite like it before. The phone has a couple of flaws, on the left side of the phone t is piece broken out w some ran a couple of wires and on the same side t is also about a 1 1/2" crack towards the bottom (I wasn't able to photograph it). When I cranked the Phone the Bell did not ring, but when I opened up the phone I did not find a bell , it might have had a external one. The brown and white wire sticking out of the side of the phone are hooked up to the magneto and I measured the volts coming out and it registered as much as 105 volts AC. The only writing I found on the phone was on the inside and it said ( Condenser 26A --- .5 MFD --- LEICH ELEC. Co. ). The phone is 10 1/2" high x 9" wide x 6" deep.
