A QUALITY VINTAGE MAH JONG SET FROM ~THE MAH JONG MANSE~ 1920's FRENCH IVORY MAH JONG SET! 152 BEAUTIFULLY GRAINED TILES8 MATCHING JOKERSA SET OF VINTAGE COUNTER HOLDERS TOO! THE TILES: This set comes with 144 original tiles plus 8 matching Jokers = 152 tiles. One of the 6 Circle tiles is a replacement- it is a perfect match made from the same set's manufacturer. The tiles measure 1 6/32 tall x 7/8 wide x 1/2 thick. The graphics are vibrant and crisp- beautiful engravings! Wonderful William Morris 'Arts and Crafts' style font for the Arabic numbers. The Jokers are perfect matches, made from tiles from the same set's manufacturer. The backs' shine just a hair more.... and I mean a hair. barely noticeable.THE EXTRAS: A pair of vintage French Ivory dice A complete set of score counters following current National Mah Jong League rules.THE CHINESE COUNTER HOLDERS: This box contains four 'counter stick holders' in four colors. It is in EXCELLENT condition! What a cool addition to your mah jong game!THE CASE: This case is in beautiful condition! Highly grained wood- smooth drawers and the lid holds firmly in place. The back of the case has an age crack in it- The handle is super strong and will survive swinging the set over your head a dozen times if the need ever arises.This is a beautiful Vintage Mah Jong game- it is ready for all versions of Mah Jong too!
