Exceptionally nice 1940's-50's bakelite horse pin with delightful dangling boots and horseshoe. Exquisitely carved and detailed with painted eye and studded horseshoe and boots. The pin measures 2 1/2 " from nose to end of neck, and 2 1/2 " from top of head to bottom of the boot. The brooch is in excellent condition, the color is bright and rich and t are no scratches to speak of. This is one of the nicest pieces i've ever seen.
