Vintage Barbie #1666 Debutante Ball 1966-67 HTF Lovely! One of the hardest to find outfits for vintage Barbie, this example of Debutante Ball is in played with but very good condition. Beautiful light aqua satin and deeper aqua chiffon combine for a gown and stole that will make your vintage doll look wonderful!The light aqua satin does show very light soiling on the bodice and a very small snag on the left side. The satin skirt has lost crispness but still looks good with some wrinkling. The chiffon rose is nice, the overskirt could use some steaming in the front. There are two small holes in the chiffon in the back near the hem, which I didn't even notice until now, upon close inspection. I have had this outfit for years, and it is a duplicate in my collection. The rabbit fur stole is nice, with one edge of the satin lining a bit discolored. The fur itself has one small mat and the fur is a little bit more sparse on that side. The chiffon ties are wrinkled but look fine otherwise.Dress is tagged Barbie. Long white gloves are excellent without snags. Clear shoes with gold glitter have lost much of their glitter, but are not split and are otherwise sound, with the left marked Japan.Missing are the single pearl on chain necklace and gold clutch. Those two pieces came with many other Barbie outfits, so replacements should be findable.
