This is from my personal doll collection, I am offering a vintage 1959 beautiful dark brown ponytail Barbie. This is a straight leg Barbie, made before they began to sell her with bendable legs. The bottom of her right foot is marked Japan and all joints are tight. On her buttocks it is printed MCMLVIII and I believe she's a #4 Barbie but I'm no expert. Condition issues: Some tiny mars on her torso (e-mail me for photo but it's not a cut). Her ponytail has two pieces of hair that have losened from the ponytail - I will let the new owner decide whether to fix or not. Her nails are in perfect condition, still painted red and she has the side glancing eyes. Her toes still show some red nailpolish but honestly, I loved changing her shoes so they aren't as nice as her nails :) Her makeup and lipstick are in perfect condition. Barbie will come with her panties and bra as shown, the stand and a pair of shoes. The elastic on the bra has losened but is still well attached. IN ADDITION, This Barbie will come with a 1961 Barbie doll case featuring 4 images of Barbie on the front cover. It is in good condition, the handle is completely attached and not broken and the latch moves smoothly though the brass shows wear, but no rust. This case comes with 7 clothes hangers and the interior drawer is in good condition, moves easily and has no tears.
