VINTAGE BARBIE BALLERINA 1961 #989 ORIGINAL O10 I have recently come into a very large group of vintage Barbie, Ken, Skipper and a few Allen , Tutti and Francie outfits, all from the 1960's and very early 1970's. The entire collection belonged to a Barbie collector and was purchased at an estate sale. Every item was listed, numbered and bagged. They all have black and white Barbie tags. I still haven't gone through each one individually but from my first look through I can see they range from mint to good. Some are complete or near complete outfits, many others are individual or 2 pieces of an outfit. Wver possible I may add items that may not be the exact accessory that belonged to the original outfit but I will always disclose what is not original to the piece. I will be putting a few up for auction each week along with my other barbie lots so please take a L@@K! Up for bid is this Mattel Barbie Ballerina #989 from 1961-65 in Excellent Condition as well as additional accessories. Included is the practice black leotard and the silver lame' and white tulle tutu with tiny fabric flowers among the fluttering layers of the ruching, white ballet shoes with ties and the delicate pink satin shoe bag.
