Vintage Barbie Rare Skipper Airport Hat Box Case Mattel Near Mint! 1964 Here is one of Skipper's most rarest cases of all; a vintage 1960s Mattel hat box with the airport graphics, in near mint condition. This case came in three colors; beige, yellow and blue. This one is obviously the beige. The graphics on this case are unique in Skipper cases. It has a blonde Skipper, dressed in "Dress Coat" from 1964-65 #1906, and waiting at the airport to go on a vacation. She has a purse, or some kind of hat box case, in her hands that is not the one that actually goes with this outfit. This case is rare to find in this good of condition. The only flaw is a tear on the inside vinyl, on both sides of the hinge area, about one inch long each, but they only go through the flowered lining. There are no splits on the outside of the case in the beige colored vinyl. The graphics are very nice and bright, with very minimal scuffing. The original snap closure works beautifully, and the original flowery lining is clean, unfaded, and unmarked No stains or odors on the inside. Check out the pictures closely.
