DETAILS: This is a vintage Baribocraft Bread Box, crafted in Montreal, Canada in the 1960s-1970s. It is made of solid teak and features the English and French words for 'Bread' in the lower right-hand corner (Bread/Pain). The door swings downwards (magnet latch), and inside there is a shelf. The entire box is approximately 17" x 10.5" x 11.5", and is incredibly heavy (over 10 lbs).Baribocraft is considered true vintage Canadian woodenware, and is known world-wide for quality of craftsmanship and innovative style. It is also apparently collected by renowned chef Jamie Oliver as noted on his blog.
