Vintage Barkcloth Rose Fabric 4.5 Yards Deco Drapery Up for auction is a beautiful piece of vintage barkcloth measuring 35 inches in width and 4 1⁄2 yards in length. I am uncertain of itâe(tm)s use. T is a narrow hem on each end, so it was not a drapery, but it could be made into draperies. The long edges are selvage. They have not been hemmed. T are 7 large patterns on this piece with small roses and other flowers along the edges. Some of the flowers in these large bouquets are: pink roses, delphinium, bachelor buttons, white daisies and pink peonies. T are also some small blue and yellow flowers that I cannot identify. The background of this beautiful piece is rosy beige colored. I apologize that the photography lighting does not do this piece justice. The fabric is glossy with the traditional barkcloth texture. T are NO tears, holes, spots or damage. T is NO mildew smell. This is a beautiful older piece that could be used for pillow covers, curtains/drapery, crafts or tapestries.
