Being offered for auction, is this huge transferware turkey platter, by Barker Brothers Ltd. of England. Measurements are approximately 20 1/4" by 16 1/8". This platter has a classic turkey center design with a vibrantly colored border of harvest fruits and vegetables. The back is clearly marked " Made in England by Barker Bros Ltd for Weil Ceramics & Glass Inc ". T are no chips or cracks and the platter appears to have only been used as a display piece. Normal age crazing with very slight yellowing is present but is concealed very nicely by the transfer design. You really have to look closely to see it. Purchases are very carefully packed and shipped promptly after receiving cleared payment (please see my feedback). Insurance is included in the shipping and handling charges.
