This is a vintage tin soda thermometer sign advertising BARQ'S ROOT BEER. It measures approx. 26" X 10" and looks fantastic. This is an estate sale find....and you don't always find them in this condition. Super overall lustre/appeal and functionality. The color graphics are beautiful/bold/vivid/crisp. As you can see it looks terrific. The picture of the bottle looks outstanding....don't know if I've ever seen one with such sharp/nonfaded colors. "Donasco 1-52" at the bottom right edge. It has "CC" located at the bottom of the temperature scale. The two mounting holes are in great shape with a couple of scratches near them. The top edge has a few add'l nicks and dings. The imperfections do not take away from this ones beauty and appeal. Lays flat. The glass tube is intact and functional with a bright red colored liquid in the gauge and it is not separated. It appears to be reading correctly, but we cannot guarantee its accuracy. Have not tried to clean this item....we'll leave that to the new owner. The back is also very clean as you can tell. It is guaranteed original/vintage.... you will not be disappointed or your $$$ back! Do not be confused by imitations and/or reproductions. This is the real-deal. For serious collectors only. A very high-quality piece. Check the photos for yourself and ask questions if you like. Add'l pictures can be made available upon request.
