You are looking at an old pail/tin that once contained 4 pounds of BEALE's Open Kettle Rendered Pure Lard, that was packed by H.P. Beale & Sons, a meat packing company in Courtland, Virginia.Aside from rust on the lid and bottom of the can, it is in pretty remarkable condition. The inside of the can is in good shape. Maybe a spot or two of rust, but not much to speak about. The top of the lid has the OSCAR MAYER (remember the hot dog song?) logo in the middle, and around the outside edge, going in a circular pattern above and below the logo that it says, "Fine meats since 1883." If you purchase this lard pail from me and are not happy with it, I will be happy to receive it back from you within 3 days, packed the same as I have shipped to you. I do not want it to get damaged in a lot of back and forth travel. Any returns must be communicated to me first. Thanks for checking out my listing. !
