VINTAGE BEATLES 1964 Car Mascots 8" Bobble-heads Dolls!! These are highly collectible, hand-painted figures, made of high quality resin. These were made in Japan in 1964 and three of the four still have the original "Car Mascots Inc. Made in Japan" stickers. The Beatles appear in blue suits and bear their signature instruments. The bases are painted gold. On the base of each of the dolls is the autograph of that Beatle, in black on the gold base. Fine collectibles of this age (almost 50 years!!!) generally have some serious damage: broken parts, major chips, missing bits. in as fine of condition as these are. That's not the case with this set: there are no cracks, no broken or missing bits, the colors have not faded, no noticeable damage at all. The colors have not faded. The colors on this particular set are vibrant, with minimal wear to the gold base and the bodies. Given their age, these bobble-heads are in excellent condition! As noted for this auction, these dolls are in VERY GOOD condition. Some gold paint has flaked off of a couple of the bases (most noticeably on George and Ringo) and George's base is missing the Car Mascots sticker from the bottom. There are a couple of spots, mostly the back of the head, where very minor wear can be detected, probably from lying in packaging for a few moves. The autographs are legible read more
