Up for auction is a vintage beer bottle, Weber Export, from the Bethesda Brewery, Waukesha, Wisconsin. It has a paper label, with some nicks at the edges... see the photos for exact condition. The brewery name is embossed on the glass on the back of the bottle. I hope you can see that in the photo. The bottle is empty. A nice collector's piece from a great Wisconsin brewery! This is what I have learned about this brewery and this bottle: Item: Weber's Export Paper Label Bottle Bottle Description : Embossed on four lines: "Bethesda Brewery Waukesha Wis." Amber Pint (no cap, no contents) The bottle is "empty". Tooled Crown (Patented 1892: Commercial Use after about 1894) "2" on back at Heel (1902 ?) Appears to be a hand-blown bottle (suction scar or baffle mark absent --- pre-1910) "S B & G Co" on Base. [Streator Bottle & Glass Company (1881-1905): Streator, Ill.] Vented mold : two vent marks on base Dimensions: Height about 9-1/4 inches; Base Diameter about 2-5/8 inches. The bottle was probably manufactured circa 1902. Label Description : Text: "Weber's Export" Waukesha Wisconsin Colors: Red, Gold, shades of Gray on White with Gold Border Art: Brewing Grains depicted (Hops?) Some age and moisture discoloration Some edge wear and deterioration Lacks the 1906 Pure Food & Drug Act Statement History : In 1857, Henry Meyer
