Up for auction is this great vintage John Primble Belknap Louisville fixed blade hunting knife with the original leather sheath. This knife is from my fathers estate, he was a avid knife collector and always took great care of his belongings. This is a very unique knife as the handle is made out of four different bakelite colors, Yellow, Orange, Burnt Orange, and Black. Bakelite is a collectible by its self making this wonderful vintage knife even more desirable. The blade is 3 in. long and the handle is 3 1/4 in. long, making the total measurement 6 1/4 in. long. T is writing on both sides of the blade, on one side it says BELKNAP LOUISVILLE and on the other side is DBG10Y which I believe to be the serial number. I would say that this knife is in very good condition, but as I am no expert you must be the judge. Thank you for looking and have a great day.
