This listing is for a Vintage Bell & Howell 2123 XL Super 8 8mm Movie Camera. The user manual is dated 1977. It is in excellent condition in original box with original styrofoam case , together with its owner / user's manual in English, French and Spanish, with a non disturbing crack on the battery compartment door. Image of this crack did not come out. Time permitting I will add a photograph of the crack on the battery compartment door. It in no way interferes with functionality and is not even in view. The internal of battery compartment is clean , like new , and not oxidized or pitted. Not Tested but it should be fine as these things were made not to break. An easy to use but advanced camera . Power Zoom which enables you to change the magnification ( focal length ) of the lens with perfect smoothness over the whole wide angel to telephoto range or , over any part of this range. Contrast Switch - The automatic exposure control system of the camera will give you an ideal exposure. In two scenarios , one when against an extremely dark ground or the other , extremely bright , it might under-expose or over-expose , in which case you can use contrast switch to correct these exceptions.minor water damage to the interior corner of the base of the box ( only on the inside , a triangle about 2x2x3 inches . many other features.
