Signed by the artist and said to be featured in "Art West", the March & April 1984 edition along the verso, what a surreal image of the Native American woman with the moon and stars reflecting in her long and flowing hair! Double matted, glazed and framed the artwork measures approx. 25-1/4" by 37-1/4" with a sight size of 29-1/2" by 17-1/2". Examined inside the frame the artwork appears to be in good overall condition with wear to the frame. He is from Oklahoma and attended High School in Tulsa, the University of Tulsa and Tulsa Junior College. His accolades exceed our space for listing as do the numerous exhibits of his paintings. He was published in The Tulsa World in 1983, The Tulsa Tribune in 1987, and Muskogee Daily Phoenix in 1993. He was designated a Master Artist in 1986 by the Five Civilized Tribes Museum, Muskogee, Oklahoma. His paintings are in the public collections of the Five Civilized Tribes Museum in Muskogee, Oklahoma; the Thomas Gilcrease Institute of American History and Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the Heritage Center Inc.
