Vintage Bendix Automatic 2 speed kickback bicycle hub with red stripes. Made in the USA. This hub was used in numerous Schwinn Stingrays and Cruisers. Both the brakes and the gears work. 36 hole and 18 tooth. Was in a wheel with a standard chrome 24 inch rim and we removed the hub from the rim. The rim was brand new, we believe the hub is new and unused as well. The sprocket has no wear spots on it and the axle has no wear from the dropout. The white marks on the red stripes are the chrome cleaner we used to shine it up, and I am too blind to see it til I blew up the pictures. The chrome is PERFECT. It has a 111 mm dropout width.
