Up for auction is an authentic, VINTAGE, Old pair of BOOKENDS from Italy, marked as such on the bottom of each one (etched into the stone). These are birds-cockatiels I think with ruby gemstone eyes. The are in very good original condition. The top feather on one of the birds heads may have the very end chipped off but I am not sure. It may have been made this way. It just feels a little sharper than on the other one. Each one measures approximately 5" tall by 3.75" wide by over 2" deep. I think the medium is onyx but perhaps marble. They are very heavy.
