Vintage Black Americana Boy with Melon Salt and Pepper Shakers Vintage Black Americana Boy Melon Salt & Pepper Shakers This Old and Very Rare Black Memorabilia Boy With Watermelon JAPAN Salt & Pepper Shaker set is from a private collection. THIS TERRIFIC SET IS IN MINT CONDITION AND JUST ADORABLE. You will love this one! This is a true vintage salt & pepper shaker set of Black Americana Memorabilia – NOT reproduction . The boy is wearing green short pants and no shirt and is sitting down holding a large juicy watermelon wedge in his hands. The boy’s face is so well detailed with big eyes and red mouth that is open wide as he is ready to take a bite out of his watermelon slice, even his hair is very well modeled. These shakers date to circa late 1930’s-1950’s. The boy has 5 holes and watermelon has 4 holes. Measures approx. 3 ¼” inches and are marked “ JAPAN ” and retain their original cork stoppers. This set is in Mint condition with NO chips, cracks, crazing, or damage of any kind – a REAL treasure these are! These shakers have been in a display cabinet of a private collector for many, many years and have been loving cared for. Please contact us with your questions.
