Up for auction is "Carved Wooden Bear from the Black Forest". This bear was purchase in the Black Forest when I was living in Germany. This bear is in wonderful condition and show little to no signs of use; just a little dusty from storage. It has no chips, scratches or damage of any type. This bear measures approximately 5" from the left feet to the top of its back; 8" from the left hind foot to the tip of the nose; 3-1/2" from hind foot to hind foot. The bear alone weights approximately 14-3/4 ounces. This item was stored in a non-smoking and air conditioned home and has no smell. Policies General: Most items I sell are vintage and sold “as is”. Please note that when buying vintage items, there might be some small imperfections due to age. This is not considered damage unless I describe, such as chips, holes, repairs, stains, etc. I strive to give the most accurate description of signs of use and/or damage that we can. All items are carefully inspected prior to shipping. In the event you receive a defective item, please contact me immediately. We will work together to resolve the issue. All non - paying bidders will be reported to E-Bay and I will open a dispute to resolve this matter. Items will not be shipped until payment has been received and cleared. All sales are final . No returns accepted, unless the item is grossly misrepresented. Shipping/Handling The winning bidder is responsible for payment of shipping/handling and insurance charges. We ship Monday through Saturday and your purchase will be shipped within 2 business days of receipt of cleared payment. Unless requested by the auction winner, we will ship United States Postal Service with insurance to guarantee you receive an undamaged product. Delivery confirmation is included on all domestic purchases. Please use our postage calculator to determine costs. We are always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases--please contact me for combined shipping rates and include your zip code with your request. Your purchase will be carefully packaged to ensure items are not damaged in transition and we understand that sometimes accidents are unavoidable. However, in the unlikely event that an insured item is damaged during shipment, it is the buyer's responsibility to file an insurance claim with the post office and/or UPS. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and the item must be received in the condition in which it was shipped. Refunds will not be issued on fragile items that we receive broken, if they are not insured. If item/items are damaged during shipment; please contact me within three days after item receipt of their purchase and return the item within one week. Weights and shipping cost are estimates only. (Shipping cost reflects the actual weight of the items before packing material is added). We reserve the right to change the shipping method without notice.
