Up for auction is this gorgeous vintage Black Forest Cuckoo Clock made in Germany.. it measures about 23 1/2" from top of rack to bottom of pendulum and about 11 3/4" at the widest..I believe it is an eight day, but not sure of that, the weights are larger and usually means it is 8 day instead of 8 or 12 hours... features a nice stag deer at the top, a rabbit and bird go down each side of the middle and a hunting pouch and rifle are at the bottom..have the larger pinecone weights..t is even a pull chain to adjust the chimes to the hour.. appears to be working great, the blue and white cuckoo bird comes out and has a nice sound..on the back of the door the original owner has written that the clock was purchased in 1953 for his wifes Christmas present.. must see to appreciate..
