Estate Fresh! The previous owner of this pipe-shaped humidor claimed it belonged to his father from the 1930's. He said is was carved black forest wood. This tobacco humidor is quite oddly shaped and rather unusual. The center of the pipe has silver metal reticulated openings in the top and the lid opens. The center is hollowed with a silver metal lining. This is w the cigars or cigarettes would go, I am presuming. The stem of the pipe also opens and has a rough, coarse surface which was used to strike matches. The matches would go into this hollowed opening. Beautifully carved and highly detailed overall. Guaranteed to be vintage as described. It measures 6" in diameter and 7 1/2" in height to the tip of the pipe stem. The bottom is clearly marked as shown 'Made in Italy ~ Macabo' Cusano' and another illegible word. Clearly unusual and vintage as described. Buyer to pay shipping costs. Thank you.
