VINTAGE BLACK ONYX INTAGLIO ROMAN WARRIOR 10K GOLD RING This extremely collectable, vintage reverse intaglio seal ring was crafted from beautifully designed 10K yellow gold. The Roman warrior's head was carved from solid black onyx. The color of the stone is true jet black, but appers a bit lighter in the photographs because the lens was aimed to catch the ambiant light reflections just to show the carving's amazing detail. The ring is in almost new condition. T are no chips or cracks on the stone, only a few very tiny scratches at the top edge of the stone, but you have to look closely. Please see the photos. This gorgeous ring was inherited from a jeweler who lived and worked in Boston , Massachusetts , all of his life, so I know it is a vintage ring. The 6-sided black onyx stone is 5/8-inch long and ½-inch wide. The total weight of the ring and onyx stone is approximately 1/4-ounce. The ring is a size 6 ½.
