Straight from the 50's is this bar light. BLATZ BEER, touted as "Milwaukee's Finest Beer". This is what the sign says underneath the two high stepping BLATZ beer guys. Tall guy on the left is a BLATZ beer bottle. He wears a yellow hat, has blonde hair and a little red bowtie. In his right hand he's carrying a frost mug of BLAZT beer and his right leg is kicking into the air. He wears blue pants and black shoes as does his buddy. His left hand touches his buddy's hat. He used to be carrying a pennant as well I see as t is a little spot w the peg went, but that has been lost over the years. His short little buddy is a BLATZ beer can, wears a yellow hat, has red hair and a red bowtie. In his right hand, he also carries a frosty mug of BLATZ beer and draped over his arm is a yellow cane. He is also in step with a right leg kick. In his left hand, he carries the pennant which reads, "draft-brewed* BLATZ BEER". They appear to be doing their little dance on a gold colored stage. The stage measures 15" long and 5" wide and stands 18" tall and when plugged in the floor lights up. It works fine and the bulb is original. The colors are still vibrant, the paper on the bottle is in good shape, no rips or tears. The bottle is brown plastic but the can is tin. The pennant has writing on both sides and is in good shape. T are some paint chips on the mugs that the guys carry and some chipping from the tops of their hats. You can see the chips in the photos. I can't find a date anyw on the light, but know it's from the 50's. A wonderful collectible from days gone by. Please email me with any questions before bidding, please as this item has NO RESERVE.
