Beautiful old decorative glass piece from an estate sale. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a candy dish, decorative bowl or an ashtray. It looks to be blue and white cased glass. T is a pontil I tried to show in picture on the bottom. I don't know how to tell if it's hand blown or mold blown. The fluted edges have clear tips, really neat. The hand painted flowers are in raised white, green, deep blue and gold paint, which is in excellent condition. T is one chip in a clear tip of one of the fluted ripples (hard to see unless you are really looking for it, it's on the outter left side). I revised this listing on 11/30 and added a picture of this, it's very hard to capture, see the last picture, it is on the "v" of the ripple in the center, left side. T is one 1/4" circle inside that I first thought was a chip, but I think it may be a mistake in the glass (see this pictured in the second to last photo). I see no other chips or cracks in this piece!! It's really gorgeous! T is no crazing. It measures just over 8-1/2" across left to right and just under 8" across top to bottom. It stands about 3" at the tallest point. It's a great old piece to add to a collection and would look beautiful on display!!

The estate sale w I found this was that of an elderly antique dealer whose items we were told had been boxed away since the 70's. Everything was sold by boxful. Lots of neat finds (old pewter, blue glass, hand blown glass, knick knacks), so check back, I will be listing a variety of items as I sort through and as my time permits. This was my first estate sale (Iâe(tm)m hooked now) and I really don't know much about antiques (other than what I've enjoyed learning on e-bay), so I will describe each item as best I can.
