Offered for auction is a wonderful child’s teaset. This great tea set is in the blue willow pattern that has been popular since the 18 th century. This set dates from between the 1940’s or 1950’s. The blue and white transferprint pattern is highly ornate. Many of the pieces are marked Made in Japan. The set includes the following:2-pc Teapot with lid 3” High and 4 inches wide from spout to handle2-pc Sugar bowl with lid 2.25” high and 2.5” across from handle to handle 1 Creamer 1.75” high and 2” across from spout to handle6 Cups 1” high 6 Saucers 2.75” in diameter 6 Dessert Plates 3.75” in diameter There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces. Some have the usual manufacturing flaws, such us bumps, discoloration, misprints, etc. common to this type of tea set. This wonderful vintage blue willow pottery is a great addition to your blue willow, toy or doll collection. Thanks for your bid!
