Lovely double drop dangling GARNET EARRINGS and for you, No Reserve. Please read on.......... For this auction....from my collections of inherited fine jewelry.....Probably VICTORIAN, these beautifully detailed garnet EARRINGS are made up with 1 and 2 tiers of many LIVELY deep red rose cut stones all prong set with a center round garnet, also prong set. The workmanship is amazing as you will note in the pictures. My jeweler tested it as 14k??however it is not marked as such like so much of the Victorian jewelry. I do not know the total weight of the stones however the total weight of both earrings is 5.7g. The double drop is about 1 1/4 inch over all, with the largest of the dangles being a tad more than 1/2 inch round. Please note..the very VINTAGE butterfly backings. The earrings are in excellent vintage condition, the only thing I see unusual, is a drop of gold shown on the back side(photo) of one earring.??? I have a garnet cluster ring on ebay now if you wish to find where I believe my garnet jewelry originated. I will be listing other types off vintage garnet earrings. If I have left anything out of this description for you, please let me know. For shipping, I charge only what USPS First Class w/tracking and eBay dictate.
